Edelman & Edelman was founded by Jerome Edelman, one of the few members of the Bar of the State of New York elected to the International Academy of Trials Lawyers, which limits their membership to less than 500 lawyers globally. At the time of election, Jerome Edelman was one of the six lawyers selected from the State of New York.

In 1978, Martin Edelman joined his father and mentor to create what is now known as Edelman & Edelman. It is now one of the premier personal injury law firms in the country. For over two generations, our lawyers have been representing victims of construction accidents, auto accidents, medical malpractice, negligence and other personal and psychological injuries.

The firm has been instrumental in changing the law in the areas of pharmaceuticals and products liability.
